Being 39, I am not exactly the author's target audience but was able to pull several pieces of good advice from this book. I have struggled and continue to struggle to accept that I am gay. I can honestly say that reading the author's story gave me perspective on why I feel ashamed to be gay and it provided me some ideas on things I can do to feel better about myself.
